Adam from IL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, I’m planning on visiting WDW with my family in June. We would like to take our four day passes and upgrade one day to allow us to park hop. How do I go about doing that? Adam

    Hiya, Adam! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to Walt Disney World Resort this June! There will surely be magic waiting for you around every corner. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom by the time you visit and you won't want to miss the outdoor kitchens and character topiaries (keep an eye out for Kermit, my favorite!). You'll also be in time to experience everything that The World's Most Magical Celebration has to offer. Be sure to take some extra time to check out the Beacons of Magic in each of the parks!

Adam, the Park Hopper Option is a fantastic way to add even more pixie dust to your magical vacation! I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but a single day can't be upgraded when part of a four-day Theme Park Ticket. However, you are more than welcome to upgrade all days of your ticket to the Park Hopper Option! My husband and I often purchase tickets with the ability to park hop so we can start our mornings in front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park, then end our day at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios. We feel like we truly maximize the magic on our vacations this way!

To upgrade your tickets, log into your My Disney Experience app. Tap the icon that looks like three lines in the bottom right corner, then tap Tickets and Passes. Tap the first ticket you'd like to upgrade, then choose "Change Ticket." Follow the prompts to upgrade this ticket to include the Park Hopper Option. You'll want to do this for each ticket assigned to a Guest in your travel party.

If you have any problems with the above steps, my best piece of advice would be to reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members at (407) 934-7639! They'd be happy to help you with any ticket upgrades. If you do decide to call a Cast Member, I'd recommend calling right when phone lines open at 7:00 AM EST since their type of magic has been in high demand.

Adam, don't forget to also make your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is how you can reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. Also, you're now within your 60-day window and are eligible to make your advance dining reservations! My favorite places to dine at Walt Disney World Resort are Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom Park and Via Napoli in EPCOT!

If you have any other questions, please visit us again. Remember: you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
