Hello, I'm looking to plan a Disney World Vacation for January 2024. I am pretty sure I can book room only reservations now over the phone but when could I expect these to open online? Thank you so much for your help!

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney!

Dillon, you are my kind of planner! I am always looking to plan out my vacations ahead of time. It gives me something to look forward to and put on the calendar! I love a good Disney countdown!

Some changes were recently made to the reservation process for the Walt Disney World Resort. At this time, reservations can only be booked out as far as the dates that have been released by Disney. As of right now, Guests can only book vacations up until the end of 2023. Dates in 2024 have not yet been released for booking either by phone or online. Historically, new booking dates have been released in the spring, but that could change. Please keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see when there is an announcement for 2024 dates!

In the meantime, you can begin to prepare for your vacation by doing what I do: planning out the rides and attractions I'm going to want to prioritize, picking out any Enchanting Extras I might want my group to experience, and drooling over the restaurant options I just have to try!

Dillon, let the countdown begin! Have a wonderful time planning and a magical time when the countdown gets to zero!

Every adventure requires a first step,
    Matt
