Hello, I am wondering about renting a mobile scooter due to my pregnancy and am wondering what the steps would be to reserving one or how it works. Do I get one at the hotel or each specific park - just looking for some info about. Do I need a dr note?

    Hi Miranda,
So glad you could join us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Congratulations on your upcoming new addition; you and your partner must be so excited!

Renting a scooter really depends on what you feel your needs will be while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you feel like you'll need transport from your hotel, through the parks and back to your resort, I would recommend using one of the Disney Featured Providers for scooter rental.

If you think you'll only need transport while visiting the theme parks, I recommend renting an ECV (that stands for Electric Conveyance Vehicle) upon park arrival. Note that these are first come, first serve and reservations are not accepted for ECV rentals.

Miranda, I hope you have enough information here to make the best choice for your upcoming visit.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
