Hello! I was wondering if it is an option at the AoA to rent a rocking chair, or the best way to go about doing that in the area? Thanks!

Hi, Sherri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. We first visited Walt Disney World Resort as a family when my younger daughter was 16-months-old. At that time, she still loved to be rocked to sleep. I will admit I sure due miss those days of snuggling up with my little princess as she went to sleep!

At this time, Walt Disney World Resort does not offer rocking chairs to be used in the guest rooms. However, there is a third party vendor I know of in the area that does have them. You can do a web search for "A Baby's Best Friend Orlando" to see their rental inventory. I was just searching their website for my sister a couple of days ago and saw that they do offer rocking chairs. I used their company several times when our daughter needed a crib or toddler bed and found them to be a reliable service to vacationing families.

If you need a quiet place with your little one while in the theme parks, look for the Baby Care Centers. They offer rocking chairs and changing stations in a climate-controlled and peaceful atmosphere. If you have older children with you, there are some quiet games to keep them entertained while you tend to the little one.

Thanks again for stopping by, Sherri. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
