Welcome to planDisney, Lauren! Yay for planning a May trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I love visiting at that time of year, spring is here,
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom, the heat is bearable, and so are the crowds. You'll have the most wonderful time!
Lauren, did you check ticket prices through
Shades of Green Resort? Tickets are up to 12% discounted, and no tax is included. Since you are visiting for just one day, I suggest purchasing a 1-day Magic Your Way Ticket with the Park Hopper option, to give you the biggest bang for your buck. If you're only visiting for one day, you will definitely want to visit at least two parks! Make sure to visit Disney's EPCOT Park for the Flower & Garden Festival. For your second choice, if you are wanting to experience all things Star Wars, I suggest
Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you want to see Cinderella Castle, feel like you are being transported into a storybook, and experience a "great big beautiful tomorrow" in Tomorrowland, visit
Disney's Magic Kingdom Park! Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of these choices! These tickets do not come with a park date, so it is important that you still make park pass reservations!
Have the happiest time visiting Walt Disney World, Lauren!
