Hello, I am wondering how I book a crib for our stay in November/December-we are staying at Art of Animation in the Cars Suite. Thank you!

    Hey Jamie,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m thrilled to help answer your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. Cribs and playpens are super easy to request; you can either request one in advance via the My Disney Experience app or you can request one after you arrive. If you’d like to do the former, open your app and tap on the menu icon (☰). Tap Hotel Reservations, then scroll through the icons under your reservation until you see Call Resort Hotel and tap it. Call the resort and make your request. If you’d like to just wait to make your request when you arrive, you can either use your Hey Disney! device or call Mousekeeping from your resort room phone to do it.

Some resorts will exclusively have playpens while others will have both cribs and playpens available. Both are subject to availability. When Mousekeeping brings your crib/playpen they’ll also bring a freshly cleaned sheet for it, but you can also bring the standard sheets yourself if you prefer.

It sounds like you’re gearing up to visit with your little one during my most favorite time of year: Christmas! There’s really no place quite like Disney World at Christmastime. Your resort hotel and the parks will be decorated with the most beautiful holiday décor, characters will be dressed in their holiday best, and there will be fun holiday-themed snacks and beverages to try. In addition to all this, you will also have the ability to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This special, separately ticketed event is one of the very best events offered at Walt Disney World. Party guests get to experience rare character meet & greet opportunities like Jack Skellington (dressed as Sandy Claws) and Sally, and enjoy spectacular entertainment such as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. You’ll even get to see some of your favorite attractions with festive holiday overlays. Magic Kingdom will close early on party nights, so be sure to check the Hours & Events Calendar whether you’ll attend the party or not so you can know what nights this will happen during your visit. Tickets are on sale now, but they will eventually sell out so if this is something you’d like to experience I would suggest purchasing your party tickets soon.

Bonus tip! While you're visiting, don't forget to use the Baby Care Centers. These are dedicated spaces for guests with little ones that provide a great place for you to change diapers, manage feedings and rest as needed. The centers even have essentials available for purchase just in case you need them.

I hope this information is helpful, Jamie. If you have additional questions about your next visit, feel free to stop by and see us here at planDisney again. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
