Welcome aboard, Nino! If you've already selected a Port Arrival Time for your cruise, that means that it's almost time to set sail! I bet you're counting the days, if not hours, until it's time to head out to sea with Captain Mickey and his crew!
Disney assigns
Port Arrival Times so that they know when to expect each guest to arrive at port, and to minimize waiting once you're there. However, if you do arrive earlier (or later) than your assigned time, no worries! Just know that if you are earlier than your assigned time, there is a chance you may have to wait a bit longer to board, but you'll receive a boarding number and once that is called, it's time to board and get your vacation started! As you wait in the terminal, you might be treated with a visit from Mickey or one of his pals who pop out from time to time to welcome their guests, so keep your eyes peeled!
You didn't mention from which port you'll be sailing, and while each is very different, what they do have in common is a place for guests to be dropped off. You need not take
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transfers, though I must say they are super convenient and worth every penny for the ease! But, if you have a family member or friend who will be dropping you off at port, simply have them follow the signs to the drop off area, hop out there and give your checked luggage to the porters (a few dollars in tips is traditional too), then grab your carry-on bags and head into the terminal to check in! It couldn't be easier, Nino!
Have fun planning, and please know we're happy to help with any other questions you might have, so feel free to stop back again before you set sail!
