Hello, I will be traveling with my family (party of 13) this July. Is there a parka ticket discount for a group of our size? Thank you!

    Hi Vanessa,

The only thing better than visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is experiencing the magic with the ones you love most. You and your family are going to have an AMAZING vacation and will create memories together that you'll all cherish forever!

While there are group discounts available through Disney Group Getaways, they require a minimum of ten Disney Resort hotel rooms booked for at least one night. If your group happens to meet that threshold, feel free to look into that, but I'm assuming that you'd rather room together than apart. If that's the case, I'd encourage you to keep your eye on the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page for anything that could help stretch your Disney dollars. Also, did you see the Disney Parks Blog article about the new ticket offer coming June 4th for this summer? That would allow you to soak up SO MUCH magic and fun at a GREAT price!

With a large family myself, I'm always looking to maximize our experience and watch our pennies, so I do have a few other tips for you. First, did you know that you're allowed to bring your own food into the theme parks? For a group of 13, that alone could save quite a bit. One really fantastic food deal, though, is the refillable popcorn bucket. After you purchase the bucket, you'll be entitled to unlimited refills that cost only a small amount. It makes the perfect shareable (and scrumptious!) snack for a large group! Next, if you're all linked together through the Family & Friends list within My Disney Experience account, you can all share one Memory Maker purchase. And finally, don't forget that time is money. Be sure to arrive early to the theme parks to be able to enjoy the smaller crowds and shorter wait times first thing in the morning and not miss a minute of the magic throughout the day.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation this summer!
