    Hello, I will be staying at the Grand Floridian and then Animal Kingdom Kidani resort. Can my luggage be transferred from one resort to another? If so, do I have to reserve in advance? Thanks, Amy

    Hi Amy! Welcome to planDisney!

    WOW! What an amazing line-up of Resorts you've planned to stay in for your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I haven't stayed in each and every Disney Resorts Collection hotel (yet!) but have to say I just know you have chosen a couple of the most magical!  Some of my fellow panelists and I had the incredible opportunity to stay in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge last December and it was just breathtaking.  The majestic lobby was decorated for the holidays and the views of the savanna make you feel like you've really journeyed across the world.  While I haven't had the opportunity to stay in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa yet, we are booked for our next trip and I can't wait! 

    Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members are always incredible when it comes to helping you and your entire family have a fantastic vacation, and the Cast Members at Bell Services are no exception.  As long as both of your Resort reservations are at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, which they are, Bell Services will be happy to transfer your luggage for you and your party.  When you're ready to check out of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort simply head down to Bell Services to leave your bags and ask for them to be transferred to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village.  

    While you do not need to reserve this service in advance, I would suggest taking anything with extra pixie-dusted importance with you during the transfer, as it can take some time.  One year, my family and I had a split-stay and my toddler was NOT happy with me when we didn't her beloved "blankie" at naptime! 

    When you arrive at Animal Kingdom Lodge later in the day you can choose to pick up your luggage at Bell Services or call down and ask for it to be delivered straight to your Guest room.  During your stay at Kidani Village I would highly suggest dropping by Sanaa for a meal.  The views of the savanna are spectacular and the Indian-style bread service just can't be beat.  I wish I was there digging in right now!
