Hello, I signed up for my first Disney run the wine and dine half marathon. Is there a fee to enter the expo? Do I need to have a park ticket to go to the post race party? Is there transportation back to all star movies after the post race party? Thanks

    Hi Heather!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on signing up for the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon! I'll actually be attending this race weekend for the first time in 2017 too.

While the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex does normally require an entry fee, for the runDisney weekends you can enter the property without a ticket to pick up your bib and check out all the amazing vendors at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo

Entry into the Post-Race Party is included in your registration, but if you would like to bring along any friends or family that aren't running they'll need to register themselves separately. If you have the Post-Race Party entry, you will not need a ticket into Epcot, but you can only enter the park once the party begins. In years past this has been around 7 or 8 PM, but they haven't officially announced the time yet for this years event.

For transportation back to your resort, I actually called runDisney to check on this one because I wasn't certain myself. They let me know that in years past it has always been provided, though they haven't provided the information for this year and it is subject to change. You can call runDisney as the weekend approaches at 407-939-iRun for further clarification, but I wouldn't be too concerned!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
