Hello, I have reservations at the all star movies in a preferred room for my 2yr son, mother and myself. The carribean just became available but not in a preferred room. Which is better?

    Amy,

This is in no way a slam on the Value Hotels. I am a big fan of them both as a money saver, as well as a genuinely good accommodations option. However, if you can afford to move up to the Moderate resort room at the Caribbean, then definitely do it. I think the move to a non-"preferred" option is still not enough reason not to get into this larger room and more featured resort.

    • First off, the bigger room will be a big improvement for the three of you. The All Star room would have been fine, but the extra space will certainly help.
    • Secondly the recently refurbished main pool at the Caribbean is INCREDIBLE. Your son will love it! The kiddie pool area in particular has a ton of fun features that were obviously designed by someone with little kids!
    • Third, the amenities of the resort are a big step up. A full restaurant, sandy beaches, a marina with boat rentals, and a few other goodies make it a better place to stay. When your son is having his naps, that means at least one of you has more things to do.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
