Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie. Thank you so much for stopping by!
I absolutely love having breakfast at
Chef Mickey's. Dining with our favorite pals is a fantastic way to begin our morning before we stroll over to the Magic Kingdom for a fun-filled day. Julie, as you may know, Chef Mickey's is located inside of Disney's Contemporary Resort. Usually, the most convenient way to get there from the Disney's All-Star Movies Resort would be to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom from your resort and then take the walking path to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The walk should take you no longer than 10 minutes.
Julie,
park busses to the Magic Kingdom generally begin running about 45 minutes before
scheduled park opening. Depending on which day your reservation is, this would be around 7:15 am, or 8:15 am. Since the buses will not be running early enough to make your reservation, I would suggest ordering a taxi, ride share service such as (Uber or Lyft), or a
Minnie Van. Did you know that each Minnie Van comes with two car seats and that the driver is a Cast Member who has been extensively trained in car seat installation? If you have not ordered a Minnie Van before, it is very simple! Just download the Lyft app, scroll to select a Minnie Van as your type of vehicle, and click "confirm your ride" to let the driver know to head your way!
During operating hours, busses from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to the Magic Kingdom generally run about every 20 minutes, and the ride will take you about 20-30 minutes.
I hope that this answered your question, Julie, and please stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help in planning your upcoming vacation! We hope to see ya real soon!
