Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa!
How wonderful that Grandma and Grandpa would like to join you for your vacation! There is nothing quite like experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of a small child.
Without knowing which
Disney Resort Hotel you have made reservations, it is hard for me to give you a definitive answer. You may add guests up to the maximum occupancy of the room. A room with two double beds has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests age 3 and above. (Occupancy limits are determined by Florida law.) If you'd like your parents to join you, you would need to consider reserving an additional room for them, or changing your reservation to a different resort. Some
Moderate Resort Hotels have
"5th Sleeper" rooms with a child-size pull-down bed and sleep 5 people. Most
Deluxe Resort Hotels have rooms with 2 Queen Beds and a daybed and also sleep 5. There are even
family suites and
cabins that sleep 6. There is usually an additional fee for having more than 2 adults in a standard room. I recommend
giving the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line a call to see what room options you might have, and what additional costs there may be.
All Disney Resort Hotels provide guests with wonderful
amenities and perks. I'm sure no matter which one you choose, you will have a wonderful time.
Please come back to the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have as you
plan your visit. We are always happy to help.
