Welcome to planDisney, Kim! Congratulations on renewing your family’s
Magic Key (and cheers to another year of memories at the Happiest Place on Earth.) As a fellow Magic Key holder, I completely understand the excitement around those collectible magnets. They’re more than just mail; they’re little badges of honor for all the magic ahead.
Magic Key magnets are typically mailed out within several weeks of either a new Magic Key purchase or a renewal. Because you renewed back in September and haven’t received yours yet, your best next step is to contact the
Magic Key Holders telephone line. A friendly Cast Member can review your account, confirm whether your magnet was already sent, and help track it down. They are also usually able to reissue one so it can make its way to your mailbox (and eventually onto that wall of yours).
When you call, it can be helpful to have your Magic Key details and the email confirmation from your renewal handy, just in case the Cast Member needs to verify your information. While shipping timelines can vary, reaching out directly is the quickest way to get clear answers and peace of mind.
You also picked a fantastic time to renew your Magic Key, because there’s plenty of magic on the horizon. The
Disney Parks Blog recently shared the
2026 Disneyland Resort events calendar, and it’s packed with experiences to look forward to.
Disney California Adventure Park will once again host the
Food & Wine Festival during March and April, which means marketplace booths inspired by California cuisine, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to snack your way through the season. It’s always a favorite time for Magic Key holders to pop in and sample something new.
There’s even more excitement coming to
Disneyland Park itself. Beginning March 22, 2026, “
Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” will debut at the Fantasyland Theatre. This brand-new show brings the heart, humor, and playful energy of the beloved Disney+ series to the stage, making it a must-see for families and anyone who appreciates a little joyful storytelling.
While you’re waiting on your magnet, don’t forget to check out the Magic Key Portal in the
Disneyland app. This dedicated space is regularly updated with special offerings just for Key holders. Seasonal perks are always a highlight, and starting January 13, Magic Key holders can purchase
special Magic Key popcorn buckets in two new designs (while supplies last), along with enjoying discounted refills. It’s those little extras that make being a Key holder feel like part of an ongoing celebration.
Kim, I hope this helps you get answers about your 70th Anniversary magnet and builds even more excitement for the year ahead. If you have any other questions or would like tips to make the most of your Magic Key visits, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.
Wishing you a year filled with magnets, memories, and magical moments,
David
