Hello I am planning a honeymoon trip in January 2026 at your Disney resort. However, no matter how much I look for it, I can't make a reservation for January 2026. Can you tell me when I can make a reservation?

    Hiya, pal! Welcome to planDisney!

It’s awesome that you’re starting to make travel plans for 2026. I usually have a few years' worth of possible Disney vacation plans bouncing around my brain at any given moment. There are so many attractions and shows opening at Walt Disney World in the coming years, it’s hard not to daydream about a great, big beautiful tomorrow!

You have a little more time to research and plan your trip. At the time I’m writing this, 2026 vacation packages haven’t become available quite yet. In recent years, vacation and hotel packages have become available in early to mid-summer, but last year was a little different as guests were able to begin making 2025 reservations in February 2024. So news about 2026 vacation packages may be right around the corner! I’d keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Walt Disney World website for updates.

A Walt Disney World honeymoon sounds romantic and magical. It’s romagical! Or would it magantic? Either way, it sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate. If you’re looking to do something extra special, I would highly recommend making a reservation at California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. The menu and views are both fantastic, and if your meal coincides with the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom then you’re in for a real treat.

Best of luck booking your 2026 honeymoon vacation! If you have any other questions before or after you book, don’t hesitate to send your questions to your pals at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
