I am getting married Feb 2026, is it true that you can wear wedding attire in Magic Kingdom as long as it doesn't touch the ground or look like a costume?

    Hello Yolie,

Welcome back to planDisney and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Finding that special person to spend forever with is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make the most of it. If visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" while you are celebrating your matrimony is going to be the first order of business, this union sounds like it is going in the right direction. While you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park there are some rules for attire, and wearing a traditional wedding dress would not be allowed. As long as your attire is not touching the ground, does not have multiple layers, is objectionable or obscene in nature, or excessively torn you are within the dress code. I have seen brides and grooms get very creative for their honeymoon visits without venturing outside of the dress code.

If you are going to have Memory Maker during your stay you may want to think about scheduling a time with a PhotoPass Cast Member. Capture Your Moment packages give you 20-minutes inside the parks focused on you and your party and partner. These are available at Magic Kingdom and the other 3 parks as well. If you plan on this special experience and would like different locations you can book two sessions in a row to get the most out of your time with your Cast Member. The pictures are not included with your session but the good news is they are available for download with Memory Maker. You can purchase Memory Maker for one day of the length of your stay.

I hope this information is helpful while visiting Magic Kingdom during your celebration. Come on back again anytime and we will be happy to help.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
