Welcome Aboard, Gene!
Your Princess is a perfect age for a Disney Cruise! Be sure to pack her princess dresses, as she will most likely want to wear them for your entire voyage!
On your first day, you should definitely visit the Guest Services desk to get a ticket for the Princess Party. This is a time where there will be multiple Disney Princesses available to meet and greet in the atrium of the ship.
Your daughter will also probably want to visit the
Oceaneer Lab and Oceaneer Club, which are located on Deck 5 of the Disney Cruise Line ships. These areas are reserved for children ages 3-12, and they offer a wide variety of activities. You can register your daughter for this online while doing your online check-in. Once you arrive at the Disney Cruise Line terminal, you should go to the Kids Club check-in to get her special wristband.
On your embarkation day, there will be Open House times listed on the daily navigator for both of the Oceaneer areas. This is a perfect time for you to go and see the Oceaneer areas with your daughter. Each day you can consult your Navigator to see the activities being offered and decide what sounds fun! A cast member will call your Wave phone anytime your daughter is ready to leave the clubs.
While your daughter enjoys her time in the Oceaneer Club and Lab, plan for some adult fun for you. There is the
Quiet Cove Pool area to soak up some sun, or maybe partaking in a wine or whiskey tasting is right up your alley?
I hope you have a magical cruise! Please let me know if I can answer any further questions that arise as you are planning your trip!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
