Hello I have made Be Our Guest lunch reservations for my trip the first week of January. I know that it is sometimes cold even in January and I love soup during cold weather. I wonder if I could get soup instead of fries? Soup and sandwich is my fav Thanks

    Hi Jaime!

Because there are so many incredible dining options, I can't pick just one favorite place to dine when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.  That being said, Be Our Guest Restaurant is definitely one of my favorites!  Not only do you get to eat scrumptious food, but you also get to experience what it is like to dine in the Beast's enchanted castle!

With so many amazing options on the lunch menu, it really is hard to pick just one, so combining two of your favorites would definitely be ideal.  Unfortunately, there is no official rule about whether substitutions like that are allowed or not.  Whether or not substitutions are allowed is up to the discretion of each dining location, or even sometimes, the Cast Members and servers at that location.  That being said, you can always ask a Cast Member, and they may be able to sprinkle some extra pixie dust on your dining experience!  Also, because lunch is à la carte, you could always order a cup of soup separately to add to your incredible meal!

I highly recommend the French Onion Soup, especially if it is a cooler day, and of course, don't forget to try The Master's Cupcake topped with the "Grey Stuff"--it's delicious!  If you want another sweet treat, make sure you visit Gaston's Tavern to enjoy a massive warm cinnamon roll and some refreshingly cool LeFou's Brew!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
