Hello.I will be leaving from Art of Ani. to HS and want to arrive before 7A. With reduced bus service because of the Skyliner, when should I plan for the bus to begin operating? Is driving a better option ?

Hi Alecia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

During hours when the Disney Skyliner is not operating, bus transportation from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios will be running as it always has, approximately every 20 minutes.  Although officially bus transportation begins 45 minutes prior to scheduled park opening time, in my experience bus transportation to the parks usually begins at least an hour prior to park open.  During my recent visit, I caught a bus from my resort at 6:00 am on a day when Disney's Hollywood Studios was scheduled to open at 7:00 am.  I recommend being at the Art of Animation bus stop by 6:00 am if you would like to arrive by 7:00. That should give you plenty of time to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios and go through security screening.  On the day I visited, I was through the gates of Disney's Hollywood Studios by 6:40 am.

Although I sometimes prefer driving myself to the parks, in this case, I would recommend sticking with the bus.  On busy mornings, there can be a bit of a traffic jam to get through the parking toll booths and enter the parking lot.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  Enjoy!
