Hello!! I would like to know if I can park at Contemporary Resort to go to Chef Mickey's (reservation for 11:40am) and then go straight to MK walking. Is it allowed? Or, instead, I'll have to return to MK's parking lot. Thank you!!

    Hi Paula,

You're going to LOVE Chef Mickey's! With fantastic food, the chance to dine with Mickey Mouse himself and his friends, plus lots of napkin swingin' fun, Chef Mickey's is the quintessential Disney dining experience!

Chef Mickey's is located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort, which is within walking distance of Magic Kingdom Park. You'll only be entitled to a few hours of complimentary parking while you're there for your meal, though, and will need to park your vehicle at the Transportation & Ticket Center (which is the parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park) for the remainder of your day. If you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom Park prior to your reservation, you could simply take the Resort monorail one stop to Disney's Contemporary Resort, then ride that back to Magic Kingdom Park or walk after your magical meal. If not, you may either move your vehicle after your meal or park at the Transportation & Ticket Center before your meal and catch the Resort monorail there to take you to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Whatever you decide to do, I hope that you enjoy your meal!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Paula, and please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
