Happy Holidays Lauren! Christmas is my absolute, most favorite time of the Year, and spending it at Walt Disney World makes it so magical!
The perfect way to get into
the holiday mood is a tour through the different
Resort hotels.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge always looks quintessentially "Christmas," and I would suggest a
Holiday Sleigh Ride while you are there! The carriage ride takes you past magical Resort decorations as well as through the
Campsites where the Guests get into their holiday decor! Once you are done, head to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see their spectacular
Gingerbread Display! It is so big you can walk in it, and it smells divine!
Speaking of delicious food, you have a Santa's bag worth of options for
Christmas dinner. Minnie's Seasonal Dine at
Hollywood & Vine offers a fantastic buffet filled with classic holiday flavors. It's also an excellent opportunity to greet your favorite Disney Pals in their fancy holiday attire! If you want a traditional Christmas dinner,
Liberty Tree Tavern is the place to go. The mashed potatoes, pot roast, and turkey with gravy are super delicious and entirely on brand for the holidays! You can book your feast
online starting on June 28th (180 days before Christmas), via
My Disney Experience or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
We are going to be at Epcot this Christmas, and instead of a traditional meal, we are considering a Yuletide stroll through
Epcot's International Festival of the Holidays. There are so many delicious options, and we are going to try as many as our tummies will allow at the
Holiday Kitchens! I also think it's a fantastic way to celebrate the universality of the holidays - we are as excited to sample the Chicken and Matzo Ball Soup as much as the Panettone Mignon (Traditional Italian Christmas Fruitcake).
Lauren, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. I wish you a vacation full of chEAR!
