Hello, I just booked a stay at the grand Californian. On the day of my checkout I plan on going to the parks for the whole day. Can I leave my car at the hotel with the valet on check out day and where can I leave my luggage during this time?

    Welcome to planDisney, Valerie!

Your upcoming stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is just around the corner. The delicious dining, I highly recommend Napa Rose, and proximity to the theme parks make the Grand Californian a perfect choice for a magical stay at Disneyland Resort. Let's take a look at the logistics for your checkout day.

I have great news for you, Valerie, I confirmed with a Cast Member that you will be able to leave your car parked until midnight on your checkout day. However, I would recommend speaking with Valet Services to give them your estimated return time. Additionally, you will be able to leave your luggage with Valet Services while you enjoy the theme parks. During your stay, make sure you check out the new nighttime spectaculars, Wondrous Journey and World of Color- ONE

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disneyland Resort adventures!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
