    Hello, I am an active duty service member in the USAF. I was wondering if I was to purchase the 5 park hopper tickets, would my girlfriend and her family(all of which are civilians) be able to utilize the other 4 tickets?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jonathan! From all of us on the panel, thank you for your service. I am happy to help you with your question today!

    There are two military ticket types that you qualify to purchase with your active duty status. Let's break down both tickets:

    • Disney Military Salute Tickets: These tickets are available for active duty service members, retirees, and 100% disabled veterans. The service member can purchase up to six Salute tickets per year, and they must be activated using military ID at a Guest Relations booth (there is one at each of the theme parks and at Disney Springs). 
    • Magic Your Way Tickets: These tickets can be purchased on base or through Shades of Green Resort. Unlike the Salute tickets, they are already considered activated, and you do not need to be present for your guests to use them. 

    It's important to note that both ticket types still require theme park reservations, which can be done through your My Disney Experience mobile app.
