Hello! Dec is our 1st WDW trip! Staying at SSR w DD2 & DD4. I'd love an idea of wait times for buses to & from SSR, how long trips are, how convenient will it be to lug dble stroller onto buses - is it better to rent car? Boys get cranky when t

    Hi Fiona,

I am glad you are visiting the Walt Disney World resorts so soon! I have stayed at Saratoga Springs Resort and it is big! We were in Carousel which is the last pavillion in the resort. This made for a long trip out of the resort and into the parks. On average, Disney buses come every twenty minutes from all resort bus stops around the world. However, there are shorter wait times around park openings or Extra Magic Hours.

As for the double stroller, I had a sit and stand when my princesses were little. It was tricky to juggle two sleepy girls, stroller and gear but many guests helped by giving up a seat for them to sit.

The bus ride to and from the four main parks is about 20-25 minutes to the resort gate. Then you may need to add time for other stops in the resorts.

If you are planning on returning daily to take a nap, you may want the convenience of renting a car. This will allow you to leave when you want and not worry about the resort buses.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
