Hello, After my cruise on the Disney Treasure, I’ll be traveling to the Disney Destiny the following day. I’ve booked a stay at the Hilton Marina, which is booked over Disney, using the Disney Cruise Line transportation. How works the Transfer in FL.

    Hello, Andrea Christiane!

Thank you so much for sailing by planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question. I am so excited for your upcoming adventures...what a dream to be sailing on not one, but two brand-new ships! The Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny are incredible. I especially can’t wait to see the Haunted Mansion Parlor on each. It’s such a fun and spooky addition!

From what I understand, you’re asking about transportation after your Disney Treasure cruise in Port Canaveral to your stay at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, and then from the Hilton to Port Everglades for your Disney Destiny cruise. Here’s how it works:

At this time, Disney Cruise Line does not offer direct transportation from Port Canaveral to Fort Lauderdale. You do have a few options, though. Some Guests choose to arrange a private car service for this leg of the trip, and Disney’s Embarkation team may be able to help arrange this for you if you call them directly. Another option would be to book a Disney ground transfer from Port Canaveral to the Orlando International Airport and then take the Brightline high-speed train from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale. If you go this route, then make sure to book your train tickets in advance on the Brightline website.

For the second part of your trip (your stay at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina) you’ll be happy to know that Disney Cruise Line does provide a one-way motorcoach transfer from this hotel to the Disney Destiny at Port Everglades. You can call Disney Cruise Line to add this transfer to your reservation. The cost is currently $21 USD per Guest age 3 and up (prices always subject to change). A few days before your sailing, Disney Cruise Line will email you instructions with the time and place to meet their representative in the hotel lobby. From there, you’ll board a bus that takes you right to the cruise terminal. One of the perks of booking through Disney is that you’ll also receive a port arrival time automatically, which makes boarding smooth and stress-free.

I hope this gives you a better picture of how your transfers will work, Andrea Christiane! If I didn’t cover everything you were wondering about, or if you think of any new questions as you get closer to your cruises, please feel free to write back. I’d love to help.

    Sea ya real soon,
