Welcome back, Julie!
The Disney Magic boasts two of my family's favorite water slides: The Twist 'n' Spout and the AquaDunk!
The Twist 'n' Spout slide is fun for everyone in the family with loops and turns during the 250 foot-long ride! Guests must be at least 38 inches tall to ride this slide. It's located just above the
AquaLab area on the pool deck, which is one of my kids' favorite spots on the Magic. They love the pop jets and geysers shooting water and all the fun levers and gears to turn. It's a wild and wet place!
The
AquaDunk is for thrill ride lovers! This slide literally drops guests right into the fun. Guests climb into the entry point, where a capsule closes before the trapdoor opens below their feet plummeting them into the twists and turns, and even out over the edge of the ship, then splashing to the bottom. It's a lot of fun, but I have to admit that I do get a bit nervous when that capsule window closes over me and Donald Duck's nephews count down: 3, 2, 1 - then I'm dropped into the slide! What a fun and exciting ride it is! Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the AquaDunk.
You'll also get to experience the excitement of Pelican Plunge, the floating dock at
Disney's Private Island, Castaway Cay. Pelican Plunge features two waterslides, one dark tunnel slide and one open-top slide. Guests must be at least 38 inches to ride, and those under 48 inches must wear a life jacket, which are available on shore before you swim out to Pelican Plunge. Any guests are able to borrow and wear these life jackets.
You're going to have such fun when you head out to sea on the Disney Magic, Julie!
Have fun planning!
