Is there a height requirement or other requirement for children to go on the Redwood slide at The Grand Californian hotel?

    Hi Cheryl!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family loves to cool off in our Disneyland Resort hotel pool as a midday break during our visits to The Happiest Place on Earth!

The Redwood Pool at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa definitely has it all! From the thrilling, 90 foot water slide to the relaxing hot tub and lounge chairs, it's a great spot for the entire family to enjoy. While the water slide does not have a designated height requirement, it is recommended that children be strong swimmers before sliding into the pool below. All Disneyland Resort hotel pools offer life vests for families to utilize during their visit. I've found with the use of the provided life vests, both myself and my little mouseketeer feel confident in his abilities to enjoy the water slides.

I hope this is helpful in planning your visit next summer! Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions.
