hello heather,i would like to ask you a question because your spirit stick out to me the most.we having a church trip in aug, this is our first time going.i have a 2,4,6 years old and me and my fiance coming.is there something for all ages?

    Teresa,

Thank you for that wonderful compliment!

There really truly is something for everyone at Disney.  Have you seen the commercials for the Ford Focus that advertise it as being the car that was designed from the inside out?  Well I feel like Disney was built from a child's view out.  The vast majority of rides and attractions there are designed for an entire family to enjoy together.  We've taken our daughters as very small babies and they can ride right along with us on Dumbo or Kilimanjaro Safaris.  That is one HUGE reason that Disney is like no other amusement park out there.  Most places we've been are geared toward older kids/adults with a little kiddieland thrown in as an afterthought, but the complete opposite is true for Disney.

That is NOT to say that it's just for kids though - far from it.  My husband and I have more fun on Buzz Lightyear than the girls do, truth be told (and I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that I am always the one holding a baby on my lap, yet I have always beaten him.  Man I am good!)  There are also plenty of rides specifically for older kids and adults; the themeing of Expedition Everest is fantastic, and Rock N Rollercoaster is my husband's favorite ride ever.  The shows at Disney are also top-notch (our favorite is Festival of the Lion King) and the parades and the fireworks - wow!

Oh, and the food.  WOW on the food!  You can have some really incredible gourmet meals here, and like the rest of the parks your little ones will be welcome.  There is only one restaurant on all of Disney property that does not allow small children, and honestly it's an extremely upscale swanky place that few people would consider taking a child anyway.

Our family will be there in mid-late August as well, so look for the crazy commando touring families with all the little girls and we'll share a Dole Whip!  ;) Have a great trip!
