? for Heather. Just read your answer about buying cheap cell phones to use in the parks. We will be using Disney Transportation during our visit but taking a taxi outside the World to get a few groceries. Can you suggest a store where we could buy both?

Well it would sort of depend on which side of Disney property you are staying.  For one-stop shopping I like the Wal-Mart in Kissimmee, but it's certainly not the closest option.

Especially if you are staying in the Downtown Disney Resort area, Winn-Dixie on 535 is much closer.  It's a very nice store and prices are fair.  It's also not a huge store, which I consider a bonus.  This Winn-Dixie is in an outdoor mini mall, so there are other shops and restaurants nearby if you'd like to grab some other things.  They do sell alcohol in the store, or there is a liquor store right in front of the grocery store that has a larger selection (in case you'd like to grab some wine for your stay).

I know for sure that Wal-Mart sells the walkie-talkies and 'disposable' cell phones.  I cannot say with certainty that Winn-Dixie does, but I do feel that you'd be able to find them either in the store or in the plaza there.

    Good luck!
