Do they heat the lazy river or any parts of the water park during January?

Greeting Rhonda, What a great question!  Disney does in fact heat the water at both water parks year round. The water is kept between 75-80 degrees and that includes all areas of the water park. One exception to that would be Shark Reef, a snorkeling area where you can swim with the sharks, stingrays, and tropical fish, at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. If you have never visited the Disney water parks before, I can honestly say they do not disappoint! The attention to detail at every turn and the thrilling attractions are sure crowd pleasers! My family has created countless memories at both Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon!  I hope this helps!  Please let me know if there are any more water park or other Walt Disney World vacation questions I can help you with!  I hope you have a magical and wet Walt Disney World vacation!
