I have heard that the rules regarding pool hopping have changed for those with Annual Passes. Also, how do they know if you are not from that hotel?

Hi Rachel. Thanks for writing the panel with the great question. Disney resort pools are for use of guests of that resort only. This also applies to guests who have annual passes - you are entitled to use the resort pool at the resort where you are staying. Guests may be asked to show resort id, and many pools now have guests scan their MagicBands upon entry.

You may have been thinking of Disney Vacation Club Owners, who are permitted to use some of the other resort pools when staying on their membership at a Disney resort.

Write us back with any other questions Rachel!
