I've heard about Princess Teas on the Disney Cruises from friends, but I haven't been able to find anything about them on the website. Do they really exist? If so, can I book them ahead of time and how would I do that?

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Chris!

Disney Cruise Line does host character tea parties on seven night or longer cruises. The reason you can't find any information on them is because they can not be booked ahead of time.  When you board the ship, you can get tickets by visiting Guest Services on Deck Three.  The tickets are first-come, first-serve since spaces are limited.  On my last seven-night sailing, my daughter and I had a fun time celebrating an Unbirthday Tea Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter!  Currently, the tea party onboard is called "Disney Friends Tea Party," so any Disney characters can be in attendance.   The only time I have heard of a Princess Tea Party is on the special cruise itineraries such as a repositioning cruise.

If you are not on a seven night cruise, don't worry because there will be several Princess Grand Gatherings where your princess can meet the Disney royalty.  The princesses will be available for photos and autographs during this magical experience.

Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel with your question!  I hope you will let me know if I can further assist you with your planning!

Have a wonderful day and bon voyage!
