Hi Angelique! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I think the cupcake experience you've heard about is the
Wonderland Tea Party at 1900 Park Fare, hosted by Alice and the Mad Hatter himself. Mouseketeers ages 4-12 get to sip on "tea" (actually it's apple juice), decorate cupcakes, and make a craft to take home with them. Kids are served a lunch of heart-shaped PB&J sandwiches and chocolate-dipped rice cereal treats.
Disney PhotoPass Photographers are also on hand to capture candid and posed photos (you'll receive a card to link the pictures to your
My Disney Experience account after the event). I highly recommend booking this before your trip by calling (407) 824-1391. If you happen to be a
Disney Vacation Club Member, you can receive a discount by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
Parents may stay to watch; however, many decide to explore
Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa and pick up their child after the Party. This would be a practically perfect time for a spot of tea at the
Garden View Tea Room. If you're more in the mood for a cocktail, head up to the
Enchanted Rose Lounge. I like the Lavender Fog, which combines English Breakfast Tea with gin, vanilla, and cream!
I hope this is the icing on the cake for your kiddos, Angelique!
