    I heard there is a place in AK where they sell the dole whip? Is the water parade at Christmas any different than the regular one? Do you have the dates the Christmas parade is going to be taped? Coming in December. Thanks!

    Hi Susan,

    Yes, there is a covert new spot for Dole Whip at the Animal Kingdom! The offerings and presentation are slightly different than at the Magic Kingdom, but it's the same stuff. Go to Tamu Tamu refreshments in the Africa section (near Tusker House). They offer plain pineapple Dole Whip in a cup. They also have adult versions with a shot of either dark or coconut rum splashed on top. I must confess that I tried the dark rum version last week and it was decidedly delish! The pineapple float style presentation is not available at the AK.

    The Electrical Water pageant is the same year round. There is not currently a special holiday version of this attraction. I like your idea though.

    The exact dates for the 2014 taping of the Disney Christmas parade have not yet been announced. Typically this takes place during the first full weekend in December (this year December 6-7). If I were planning, those are the dates I'd go with, but until we get real confirmation from Disney, there's no way to be totally sure. The real announcement typically comes about a month in advance.
