Welcome aboard, Jennifer! I see in your notes here that you'll be setting sail on Saturday, August 30, 2014. That must mean you'll be heading out to sea on the Disney Fantasy for a fabulous seven-night Western Caribbean cruise.
Most of Disney's cruise itineraries include
Pirate Night, and yours definitely does, so rest assured that you will have a night of swashbuckling fun and games! Be sure to pack some pirate gear and costumes for the family (yes, even the adults!) as everyone loves to get dressed up to get in the spirit of Pirate Night. Each guest will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night, but so many guests don't just stop at that accessory. If you want to really do it up even more, there are costumes for kids as well as lots of accessories in the gift shops onboard or bring your own!
Also, check out the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that becomes The Pirates League on Pirate Night, making over little sailors into pirates! There are a few different pirate packages available there. If you're interested, just know that these book up very quickly! As a first time guest with Disney Cruise Line, you'll be able to begin your online check-in 75 days prior to setting sail. At that time, you can make reservations for extras like this pirate makeover or Port Adventures. Don't wait to long if you want a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment for your kids on Pirate Night or any other day, as those are some of the first things to book up, they're very popular! My son loved being transformed into Captain Jack in the Pirates League on the Fantasy, and my daughter made a lovely Snow White when she got that sweet makeover there too!
Have fun planning, Jennifer!
