Hello! I have heard you can order food on your phone app. Have you heard much feedback about this feature? Does it save time? Any recommendations to eat at?? I’m newer to Disney. Thanks so much!

Tick-tock, Stacy! Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner! Thanks for bringing your question to me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Ordering your meals ahead of time at quick-service restaurants via the My Disney Experience application, is the latest convenience that has been added to the app. To place your order, just tap on the app, go to “My Plans” and tap on “Order Food” and you’ll see a list of all the quick service restaurants at all four theme parks that are offering this order ahead option.

It saves you time in the lines and since you’re able to browse the menus, you can choose what you’d like to eat at your leisure and then place your order. When you arrive at the restaurant of your choice, press the “I’m here, Prepare My Order” button. You’ll receive a notification when your meal is ready, and you pick up your meal at the area with the “Mobile Order Pick Up” sign. It’s as simple as that!

When it comes to quick service at the Magic Kingdom Park, you can’t go wrong with a hot dog at Casey’s Corner, their shoestring fries are great! Liberty Inn at Epcot’s World Showcase American pavilion is a great option for burgers and salads. The Satu’li Canteen in the heart of Pandora- World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, has some great healthy options and their Cheeseburger Steamed Pods- Bao Buns are a taste that’s truly out of this world.

Stacy, now all you have to do is decide what you like best! Have a magical trip!
