I have heard they will not be running the monorails this year at the end of MNSSHP. It seems waits for buses and boats may get quite lengthy. Would I need to schedule a taxi in advance and how much extra would a taxi with a car seat cost for my 2 yo?

Hi, Casey! You would not have to schedule a taxi in advance because there are always plenty waiting.  However, I don't think you will need to use one.  Walt Disney World does an incredible job of monitoring and adjusting where their buses are needed.  At midnight, when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is over, they will roll in the buses to get the Guests back to their Resorts quickly.

Just as it is in many other states, Florida taxi passengers are exempt from laws regarding car seats. Your child will be safest in a car seat, and many taxi companies have car seats available upon request. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
