I am a foodie. I love all things Disney food, and
mobile ordering has been a game-changer. Gone are the days of standing in an endless line for one small food item. Now, I can be across the park, in line for
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! and order my next tasty treat right there on the
Disneyland mobile app for pickup an hour later.
When using the mobile ordering, you will pull up the dining location you wish to order from first. Then, you can either browse the menu or start your mobile order. I often know exactly what I want and get straight to the order. Once you have put the items in the order, you will come to a payment screen where you can enter your credit card information. This information is NOT saved, so you will have to enter it in each time you mobile order.
When you are ready to go and pick up your order, you will click the “I’m Here” button when you arrive to the dining location. It will be just a few minutes before you receive the notification that your food is ready and you can bring your phone up to the cast member to pick up your delectable delights. Trust me, it is AWESOME! The first time you go through the process might be a little bit of a challenge, but you will quickly get the hang of it.
Unfortunately, mobile ordering does not allow for cash payments.
