I've heard mention of viewing the fireworks from Royal Castle during or after dinner.....is this ideal and doable? What time do you recommend dining to view the fireworks show from the castle? Thank you!

    Hey Lindsey!

While I love dining with royalty at Cinderella's Royal Table, I, personally, would not recommend it as a good place to watch Wishes. Since the fireworks are actually shot off from a couple of different locations around the park you would be missing as much as half the show as there is only one set of windows with any type a view of the fireworks.

If you would like to experience both Cinderella's Royal Table and Wishes I suggest making your Advanced Dining Reservation no later than 2 1/2 hours prior to Wishes. Character dining experiences typically last 1 1/2 hours. This allows you plenty of time to enjoy your meal, allow all of the character cycle around to your table and get to a prime viewing location.

If you are looking for dining experiences which might have a view of Wishes I suggest the following:

    • Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party - Come hunger because this fabulous dessert buffet is a meal all its own.
    • 'Ohaha - Located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, it has a perfect view of the show from across the Seven Seas Lagoon
    • California Grill - High atop Disney's Contemporary Resort, this is a unique viewing experience.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about viewing Wishes or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
