Hi! I heard you can mail yourself a package to be waiting for you when you arrive at your hotel. I am thinking of sending a box with diapers and other consumable baby stuff. We go June 8th - do I have enought time? How do I make sure I get the box?

Yes. You can send yourself a package to your hotel. Now that many airlines are charging for luggage, this could easily work out being cheaper than packing bulky items like diapers and wipes in your bags. You can get the mailing address for any of the Disney resorts by calling the main reservations number at 407-W-DISNEY.

When you send your package, in addition to the hotel name and address, write your name and the word GUEST on the front of the package, and also write your arrival date on the outside of the box. You could also call the hotel and have them make a note on your reservation that you are expecting a package.

As to whether you have enough time, that depends on how you send the package. I would call or stop by your local post office (or FedEx or UPS or DHS store, whatever you want to use) and ask them how long shipment will take. I generally suggest that you take whatever the post office tells you and add a day or two in case there are weather delays or something.

When you check in to your resort, just tell them that you sent yourself a package in care of the hotel and they will bring it out to you.

Hope you have a great trip!
