Hi Kristine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Don't you just love having a
Disney Visa Card? I love that I can use a little bit of magic for mundane, everyday purchases like groceries and gas and build up a vacation slush fund! I can't even tell you how many wonderful conversations that little card has sparked about - what else? - my favorite topic of discussion: Walt Disney World Resort.
We like to use our
Disney Reward Dollars to do something "extra" on our vacation. That might be a room upgrade, extra days on our tickets, a special
signature dining experience, or perhaps a
special event or tour. On a recent visit I used my Disney Reward Dollars to treat my eldest son to
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour. He has always wanted to get a glimpse of the Utilidor!
While it is possible to use
MagicBands to make purchases all around Walt Disney World Resort, a credit card is not actually linked to the band itself.
Disney Resort Hotel guests may use their MagicBands to charge purchases to their room accounts, which are then charged to the credit card on file. If you'd like to use your Disney Reward Dollars for any room charges, simply stop by the front desk of your resort with your
Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay off charges to your account. At this time, Guests without a Disney Resort Hotel reservation may not use their MagicBands to make purchases.
Don't forget, your Disney Visa Card also entitles you to
vacation perks such as dining and merchandise discounts, and exclusive character greeting experiences.
Kristine, if you have any additional questions as you
plan your vacation, please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again. We are always happy to help.
Enjoy your magical vacation!
Anne Marie
