    I've heard great reviews online about the All American Family Picnic at Animal Kingdom. We are going to the WDW in the off season, late January, and are wondering if this is offered during that time of the year and can you give me any info on it?

    Hi Crystal!  With the varied dining choices at Animal Kingdom, I, myself, was not aware of the All American Family Picnic.  Unfortunately, according to Disney dining reservations, this is not a dining option they are offering at this time.  It is unknown if it is permanently removed, but currently, it is not in their system.  Previously, a guest would order the "picnic lunch" at Island Mercantile, right outside Tusker House restaurant, and was ready for pick up, at the specified time,  in a reusable Animal Kingdom bag.  You were then free to sit at any of the picnic areas within the park and enjoy your meal.  It had transitioned to "Picnic in the Park"  a grab and go station of sandwiches, chips, beverage and desert at the Beastly Bazaar. It was discontinued in January 2010, although it appears to be offered seasonally.  My recommendation is to call  (407) WDW-DINE when you are closer to your time of arrival.
