Hello, I heard that Disneyland is now fully open. What does this mean for those that have already made upcoming reservations? And if it is fully open is there still a capacity percentage for the park?

    Hi Lisa,

Your Disneyland Resort adventure is less than one month away! Are you getting SO excited? My family begins our countdown 30 days ahead of time by making a paper chain with drawings of experiences we're looking forward to and tearing off one link each day. We do a little song and dance with our kids, too. It's a fun way to build anticipation for the magic and fun we'll enjoy on our trip!

Yes, you are correct that it was recently announced that Disneyland Resort is opening its doors to out-of-state residents, too, beginning June 15th. That doesn't really change much as far as reservations go, though. Theme park reservations are still required in addition to valid tickets, and Disney is still working closely with health officials to determine safe capacity limitations. I'm glad to hear you already have your reservations squared away as there is very little availability left in June.

As you're thinking ahead to your visit, I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the helpful Know Before You Go pages for updates and announcements. Of course, you're always welcome here at planDisney, too, if you have any other questions.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Lisa, and have a truly magical visit next month!
