Had heard that the Disney Store online would be selling copies of the commemorative bricks. I already have the code numbers to order them, just wondering when this service will be released Thank you Dani

Hello there, Dani! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and submit your Walt Disney World Resort question!

It was recently announced on the Disney Parks Blog that “Disney’s Walk Around the World” located near Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center would be undergoing some transformations in the near future. Sadly, this does mean that the comparative bricks found in this area will be retired.

Guests that previously sponsored a brick can contact Guest Services either in-person at City Hall in Magic Kingdom or Guest Relations at Disney Springs or virtually by email at guest.services@disneyworld.com or by phone at 407-828-2701. A Cast Member will assist you in verifying the name and hometown of the Guest that originally sponsored the comparative brick. Guests will receive a voucher or code that may be used before or by August 31st, 2019 to purchase one comparative 6” brick for a special price

Orders for comparative bricks will be opening up on the shopDisney website beginning in Spring 2019. Currently, they have not yet become available but they likely will be within the near future! I would recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding this service!

I hope you and your family continue to have many magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
