Hello, Gay! Thanks for taking the time to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
So it sounds like you are curious about the
Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Dining Plan (or DDP for short) is available to guests who purchase a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Package or book using their Disney Vacation Club points. It's a great way to pre-pay for all your meals, so you don't have to worry about budgeting while you're enjoying your stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
With three different tiers, the
Disney Quick-Service Plan, the
Disney Dining Plan, and the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, guests can pick the plan that suits their family best. Your meal credits are tracked through your
MagicBand, and your
dining receipts will display the number of meal entitlements you have remaining. Remaining entitlements can also be viewed when placing a
mobile order on the
My Disney Experience app. To sweeten the pot, the DDP now offers guests 21-and-over one alcoholic beverage, and guests of any age may order one specialty non-alcoholic beverage (my favorite is the Iced Tea Lemonade Slush at
Columbia Harbour House).
Currently, there is a
free dining plan offer for kids (ages 3 to 9), when you purchase a non-discounted Vacation Package that includes at least four nights. It is valid for arrivals most nights from May 25 through August 28 when you book by February 26, 2020. It's possible that another wave of Free Dining will be released for fall 2020 travel dates. I'd recommend keeping a close eye on the
Special Offers page for the next few months.
I hope I've understood your question correctly, Gay, but if not, please feel free to write back. Remember, we're all ears!
