I've heard conflicting reports. Are we allowed to bring bubbles for the sailaway party? I've heard reports that cast members discourage them because they make the decks slippery, but can't find them on the prohibited items list. Thanks, y'all!

Welcome aboard, Lorelei! Thanks for asking about bubbles for the Sail Away party. I spoke with a representative from Disney Cruise Line just to confirm for you, and their official stance on bubbles is that they do not allow them, as they can make the decks very slippery.

Don't be disappointed, though! During the Sail Away party, you will not miss the bubbles. There will be Cast Members all over the party handing out streamers to wave in the air. You and your family will be dancing and singing and cheering, and of course, the ship will be setting sail for your most magical vacation ever! The Sail Away party is always a highlight for our family, as it means we are leaving our troubles behind and setting sail for a fabulous cruise with Disney.
