    I heard that the characters arrive at the Magic Kingdom via train and all go in together. Is this true and what time does this occur?

    Hi Amy,

    It sounds like someone has told you about Magic Kingdom's Morning Opening Ceremony. This event occurs about 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled opening of the park, except for the mornings that Magic Kingdom offers morning extra magic hours.

    Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and more ride the train into the front entrance to greet their guests for a day of fun. One lucky family is usually chosen to ride the train with the Disney pals and serves as "family of the day" at Magic Kingdom. While many of Mickey's Disney friends hop aboard and are on hand to greet you at the station, not all of them make it out of bed on time so you never know who you might see. It really is a fun way to start your day at Magic Kingdom and I highly suggest heading to Magic Kingdom early just to see the ceremony.
