I have heard it's best to avoid the parks with EMH because the crowds are larger, however, it seems like it would make more sense to take advantage of the EHM. I'm confused which is better? Especially if we don't have park hoppers. THANKS!!

    Celeste,

It is true that if you go to a park other than the one that has morning Extra Magic Hours you can find the crowds a bit smaller, at first.

But this is really a tactic to be used during the most crowded times, and when you have the park hopper ticket option. Also, since Extra Magic Hours can only be used by resort guests, it typically means that crowd sizes will be smaller in that park during the actual hours.

Since you don't have the Park Hopper option, I would say that you should probably go to the parks with the Extra Magic Hours. You will find that you can fit more into your day and that you will get a few hours of smaller crowds. I know it can be confusing, but remember that it is a perk, and all the buzz you hear about avoiding them is just an example of people trying to outsmart the system.

    Have a magical vacation!
