Hi! I heard that bell services no longer transfers perishable items that need to be kept cold if you’re switching resort hotels. But can they hold perishable items in a refrigerator if you arrive and your room isn’t ready? Thank you!

    Hey there, JoAnna!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit us here at planDisney.

I can never decide which fabulous Walt Disney World Resort hotel that my family should stay at. My daughter wants to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort while my son is all about Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Mom and dad prefer to stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and we all love the fabulous Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. As a result, we do a lot of split says, which means staying at two separate Walt Disney World Resort hotels during one fabulous vacation. Disney makes this so easy since they transfer all of our bags from one resort to another while we are busy playing the day away in the parks.

JoAnna, if you arrive at your hotel, and your room is not ready, Bell Services will be happy to hold any perishable items for you. What they will not do, however, is transfer your perishable items from one resort to another, so you will have to bring the items to bell services yourself.

I hope that this cleared up the new policy, JoAnna.

    Have a magical time!
