We have heard about the Amphicar that you can go on that takes you around the lake in downtown Disney . Can you tell me the cost? And can you get your picture taken while you are in it on the lake? How much do they charge for the pictures? Thanks

Hi, Richard!  What an amazingly cool experience this looks like.  I haven't done it myself yet, but I've been able to watch other guests head out on these incredible floating vehicles, and it just looks totally cool.

You can take up to three guests in the amphicars for a 20 minute ride around the lake at Downtown Disney for $125.  The unique experience starts out on the land, and the vehicle drives down the boat ramp and right out onto the water.  You'll see views of things like the beautiful Saratoga Springs resort, some of the fantastic restaurants at Downtown Disney, and even the Characters in Flight hot air balloon.

At the moment, there is not a professional photographer there when you do the boat ride.  They will take a photograph with your camera or smartphone while you're sitting in the amphicar.  What a great souvenir that would be.

    Enjoy your upcoming visit!
